Terms and Conditions
We want you to fully enjoy your holiday - but we do need the “small print” .....

1. Contract of hire
The contract is for the hire of the property for private holiday purposes only. We do not accept bookings for hirers under 18 years of age.

2. Initial Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total fee is required at the time of booking. Bookings will be confirmed in writing, upon receipt of the required deposit. However, if the booking is made within six weeks of the holiday commencement date, the full rental will be required.

3. Balance Payment
The Balance of the Hire will be due for payment six weeks before the holiday commencement date. The Owner reserves the right to cancel a holiday where full payment has not been received less than 21 days before the holiday commencement date.

4. Confirmation of Booking
Once the Owner has issued a Confirmation of Booking, you are responsible for the total published price of the property and extras as shown on the confirmation.

5. Included Items
The price includes electricity bed linens and towels. Off-peak phone calls (after 6pm and weekends) are also free (an honesty box is provided for day-time calls).

6. Party Numbers
In no circumstances may more that 4 persons occupy Burnside Cottage and 2 persons occupy SeaLoch cottage. The Owner reserves the right to refuse admittance if this condition is not observed. In addition, the Owner reserves the right to refuse or revoke any bookings from parties that may, in their opinion (and at their discretion), be unsuitable for the property.

7. Handover Times
The property will be available for occupation from 4pm on the first day and guests are asked to depart by 10am on the final day of occupation.

8. No Smoking
SeaLoch and Burnside Cottages are all strictly non-smoking homes.

9. Your Responsibilities
For the whole of the period included within you booking, you will be responsible for the property and will be expected to take all reasonable care of it. The property and all equipment and utensils must be left clean and tidy at the end of the hire period.

10. Damage
All damages and breakages are the legal responsibility of the Hirer and should be notified to the Property Manager before the end of your holiday. Their cost shall be refundable on demand. Minor damages or breakages will not normally be charged but in circumstances where extra cleaning is required or there has been breakage or damage beyond what is reasonably to be expected, the Owner reserves the right to charge you for any additional costs incurred as a consequence. The Owner reserve the right to repossess the Holiday Home at any time where you or any member of your party has caused unreasonable damage. The Owner shall not be liable to make a refund of any remaining portion of the hire terms paid.

11. Legal
In the event of any dispute between parties it shall be referred to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
